Zwatra grows through acquisitions

After taking over Den Hoed in 1996, they continued under the name Zwatra-Den Hoed. With this takeover, Zwatra also became the owner of an industrial moving company.

Den Hoed had been founded in 1914, making it the oldest company in the Boerman Groep.
The new millennium saw several more acquisitions. Baartmans & van de Water (2001), Penske Construct (truck-mounted cranes, 2005), Van den Boogerd (heavy haulage, 2008), and the transport activities of P. van 't Wout (2011) and DDM De Meern (2014) were added to the company, which by now was again called Zwatra.
