Joining the Boerman Groep

In early 2006, the son of the founder and then director-owner of Zwatra, Til Kroes, decided to sell the company. He wanted to quit active management within a 2-3 year period.

This led to the shares being transferred to the Arvo Group through a management buy-in at the end of December 2006. This takeover marked the end of the Kroes family's association with the Zwatra company after more than 60 years.
In 2015, the Boerman Groep and Zwatra managements met and, as a result, Zwatra joined the Boerman Groep as the fifth company on February 19, 2016.
