The establishment of Zwatra Transport

Zwatra was founded in 1945 by the Kroes family and for the first few years was located at Zwaanshals in Rotterdam-North. As the company continued to grow, a larger site was sought and found at the Spaanse Polder industrial area in Rotterdam.

After the takeover of Delft-based Den Hoed Transport in 1996, it was decided to establish the entire company in Den Hoed's premises on Schieweg in Delft.
Zwatra is still located there today.
